Create your own unique beaded wedding veil with this fun tutorial! You can either purchase a strand of beads or create your own customized strand with beads that are special to you.
Veil By: Totally Stitchin’ Blogger, Stephanie Struckmann
Supplies:
- Baby Lock® Eclipse DX Serger
- Baby Lock® Sewing Machine
- Baby Lock® Beading Foot for your serger
- 3 cones Madeira® Aerolock Premium Serger Thread to match veil (white or ivory)
- Madeira® Aerofil Sewing Thread to Match tulle for hand sewing
- Tulle
- Variety of beads or strand of pearls. Beads should be small enough to pass through the Beading Foot for your serger or you can use a strand of pearls typically sold in the ribbons/trim section.
- Invisible cording – if you’re making your own strand of beading. I chose a heavier cord in the beading section because I absolutely did not want me thread to break. Mine was .254 mm or .01″ and it worked great!
- Veil comb (metal or plastic)
